FHU Introduces Official Class Ring
Saturday, January 13, 2007
During fall 2006, the alumni and marketing office worked with MTM Recognition to design Freed-Hardeman's first official class ring. Former FHU Coach and Athletic Director Charlie Smith ('68)
is the MTM representative spearheading the program. The ring features
the bell tower in a signet design, and will be available in yellow gold
or white gold. Alumni can choose to have degree and class year included
on each shank (side) or to leave the shanks plain.
Order forms will be available through the office of alumni relations
soon. Costs will be $279 for a woman's ring and $479 for a man's.
Pantographing the year and degree on the shanks of the ring will be
$15.84 each. A name may be engraved inside the ring for $5.
Staff members also worked with MTM to create a lapel pin that mirrors the class ring. Designed to honor alumni who attended
Freed-Hardeman 50 or more years ago, it will be presented to
Golden Year Reunion attendees beginning in June 2007.
